This event is for Adults and Teens on the Autism Spectrum. This event can be a drop off activity if your child feels comfortable. Refreshments are provided. 

9/11/16 SUNDAY  Fall Picnic

Please join us for our Fall Picnic 10:30am-1pm at Village Park, 
740 West C St., Kannapolis.  We have reserved shelters A and B.
 
We will be supplying the hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments and drinks. We ask that you bring a side dish of your choice and any outdoor game or activity your family enjoys, such as Frisbee, badminton, etc.  We will also provide Village Park Train tickets for all children attending. 

Come out and enjoy a relaxing day with other families who understand.

10/29/16 (Saturday)  5pm – 7pm TRUNK OR TREAT   
LOCATION TBD
This event is a safe and fun way for our kids to dress up and get treats! We welcome all family members to dress up for the event. Of course you don’t have to dress up, but just think of the fun you will have if you do!  Decorate your trunk with a Halloween scene then fill it with treats and you're set to "Trunk or Treat"! Come on out and bring friends! No cost. No age limitations. As with all of our events you do not need to be a resident of Cabarrus County to attend this event.

03/19/16 (Saturday) 3pm-4pm – Egg Hunt location TBA

4/08/17  5k Puzzle Run and Fun/Run Walk, 
Location:  Frank Liske Park. Race starts at 9am 
This is our 6th annual race and it’s our biggest fundraiser of the year. This event funds the majority of our activities including childcare for our meetings which costs more than $1,000 per year. We welcome you to participate and/or start a team to help raise money for our group. If you know of any business that may be interested in sponsoring this event please direct them our way! And of course if you would like to help volunteer we welcome that too!

We are always looking for volunteers to help plan all of our events. If you’re interested in helping with any event contact email info@autismcabarrus.com  . Even if you just want to help at one event we would be glad to have you! No big commitment is expected and definitely NOT required. We know our lives are stressful and sometimes overwhelming so we don’t expect you to volunteer, but if you’re able to and want to we welcome your help.
